VIET NOLA (2023) is a short 8-by-10-inch perfect-bound book about Vietnamese-American contributions to modern Southeastern United States’ food culture. The book features research, interviews, illustrations, and photography of the Vietnamese influence on the culinary landscape of the Greater New Orleans area. VIET NOLA was my senior capstone for my Loyola University New Orleans bachelor of design.

The Quisby Hotel: Social Relaunch Creative (2024) - I composed a 3x6 grid of Instagram posts for the Quisby Hotel’s (formerly the Quisby Hostel) relaunch.

WeHelp NOLA: Restaurant Partner Introductions (2024) - I designed a series of carousel posts for WeHelp’s Instagram to introduce the restaurants partnering with them.

Web and Social Creative for The Quisby Hotel: I created various collages to be utilized throughout the hotel’s social media and website.

WeHelp NOLA: Social Creative (2024-Present) - I have designed various pieces of social creative for WeHelp’s Instagram account.

WeHelp NOLA: Women’s History Month Social Media Creative (2024): I created a series of three carousels posts to highlight pioneers in the restaurant and mental health industries.

Rouses Markets: What’s New Campaign (2023-Present) - I developed the visual identity of this campaign and regularly work with vendors to design and post giveaways on our social media when Rouses carries new products.

Vegan Now and Forever Cookbook Cover (2022) - I designed the cover for this cookbook with the goal of showing the inventive and flavorful side of veganism.

Loyola University New Orleans Design Department Senior Capstone Showcase Branding (2023) - I designed the look and feel of all promotional content for the design department’s senior capstone showcase, “Process.”

Rouses Markets Employee Magazine (2023) - I created the first-ever employee magazine for Rouses Markets, which included information for employees at all levels in the company, and celebrated employee anniversaries, retirements, and achievements.

Editorial Illustration for A Nervous Breakdown as Captured In a Series of Author Biographies by Harmony Cox (2022): I used watercolor assets to digitally compose a chameleon and waste basket, demonstrating an artist’s difficulty to communicate their work and identity to others.

Rouses Markets Holiday Issue (2022): Lunar New Year - I concepted and did project-management for the Lunar New Year feature in the 2022 Holiday Issue of Rouses Magazine, which featured my grandmother and I discussing our holiday traditions and the unity that food brings to family.

Rouses Markets: AAPI Month Creative (2023) - This post spotlights some of the many AAPI and Asian-owned brands carried in Rouses stores.

Grab a Boost of Blue (2022) - is a zine I designed for Rouses Markets in collaboration with the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council. The zine contains nutrition information and recipes.

Wash Your Hands (2020) - I created this social media PSA during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I photographed and isolated the individual bubbles to create a type treatment that feels playful, yet urgent.

Rouses Magazine - The Grilling Issue: Where There’s a Grill There’s a Way (2022) - I designed this graphic for the grilling issue of Rouses Magazine.

Rouses Markets and National Honey Board Instagram Stories (2023) - I created a series of Instagram slides for the National Honey Board and Rouses Markets to promote recipes that include honey.

Cookbook Spread Illustration - Pho Ga (2022) - I illustrated this cookbook spread for a recipe that holds a lot of significance to my family: pho ga.

Nature Nerds Podcast Illustrations (2023) - Nature Nerds, a local children’s podcast, features a new species each episode. I was tasked with illustrating the subject of each episode for season 3.

The Quisby, New Orleans: Social Media Creative (2024) - I designed creative for The Quisby’s Instagram account.

Virtual Concert Ticket Concept (2021): I created a paperless concert ticket concept for a hypothetical Santigold concert. I melded analog assets with a modern concept to create a tangible feel.

Nature Nerds Podcast Illustrations (2022) - Nature Nerds, a local children’s podcast, features a new species each episode. I was tasked with illustrating the subject of each episode for season 2.

Album Cover Redesign (2023) - I redesigned Beck’s album cover for “Modern Guilt” (2005) to incorporate the messaging of the lyrics into the visuals.

Rouses Markets Spotify Wrapped 2022 - I recreated the 2022 Spotify Wrapped graphics to showcase popular local products in Rouses stores as well as important milestones and collaborations for the company.

Rouses Markets: Free Turkey Display Ads - I versioned these display ads as static graphics and HTML.

Miscellaneous (2023) - These are miscellaneous pieces from my Loyola University New Orleans undergraduate’s degree.

The Adams Bay Project (2019) - is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Louisiana Archaeological Society (LAS), New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), and Gulf Communities Research Institute (GCRI). The goal of the project is to raise awareness about an often overlooked consequence of coastal land loss: the disappearance of archaeological sites. This project resulted in three products:

I directed, produced, and edited the documentary and designed the website, where everything gathered from the project is housed. The Adams Bay Project was funded through National Geographic’s grant program.

Rouses Markets: Double Ad Wednesday Campaign (2022) - I created the visual identity for the Double Ad Wednesday campaign. This campaign highlights the overlap between Rouses sales flyers, offering customers double the savings on Wednesdays. Deliverables for this campaign included: social media content, billboards, endcap signage, window signage, side panels, and flyers.

Blue Harvest Farms Website Redesign (2020) - I redesigned the website for Blue Harvest Farms, reorganizing and streamlining it to be more user-friendly.

Cherry Glazerr Band Poster Design (2020) - I designed this poster inspired by Cherry Glazerr’s discography. Their music is gritty and loud, yet bright and silly. I captured these moods by sculpting the “C” and “G” letters and the tongues.
